How much does diagnostics cost and is it included in the repair?
Diagnostics costs from 150 PLN. If you approve the repair, I include it in the price. If you decline, you pay for the diagnosis only.
Will my data on the drive be safe during repair?
Data safety is my top priority. Before I open the case, I secure the drive. For liquid damage I rescue the data first, then I diagnose the electronics.
I spilled coffee or water on my laptop. What should I do and can it be saved?
The key rule: do not switch the device on and do not try to dry it in an oven or in rice. Unplug the charger and bring the laptop as soon as you can. After diagnostics I will tell you plainly what can be done, how long it takes and what it costs - no guessing and no promises I cannot keep.
Which repairs do you handle and which ones do you not?
I work at component level: screen and display replacement, SSD upgrades with system cloning, RAM and battery replacement, keyboards, cooling service with thermal paste, system installation and recovery, and data recovery from HDD and SSD drives. Devices can also be shipped by courier or to a parcel locker anywhere in Poland after prior contact. I do not do soldering or any soldered-component work, including BGA chips - I will say so upfront and point you to a dedicated specialist instead of keeping your device for weeks.
How do I hand over the device and how long does a repair take?
Devices are handed over in Wyszków after a phone or email contact, and from further away by courier or parcel locker - I prepare a return label once you get in touch. Simple jobs (drive, memory, cleaning, system) usually take one to two working days; repairs that require ordering parts may take three to five. I confirm the deadline and price after diagnostics, before starting work - the decision is always yours.
